March - April 2020

Due to the Powassan municipal response to Coronavirus, the Legion has been closed until further notice. We do not have a rental facility for the foreseeable future. Please contact Pastor Rob VanDoodewaard at vandood@frcna.org or (705) 724-5070 for details.

Winter 2019-20 Worship Locations

Sunday services will be held at the Powassan Legion, at 62 King Street, Powassan throughout the winter.  Entrance to the hall is on the left side of the building. Worship services at 11 AM and 2:30 PM, with a fellowship meal between.    

Please note that special services, or other events held on weekdays or evenings, are often held at the South Himsworth Lion's Club.  Bible studies are often held in homes.   Contact us for details.  

October - November 2019 Worship

Until the end of November we will be worshipping at the Powassan Legion, at 62 King Street, Powassan. Entrance to the hall is on the left side of the building. Worship services at 11 AM and 2:30 PM, with a fellowship meal between.

Worship services at 11 AM and 2:30 PM, with a fellowship meal between, but please note that no food preparation area/stove/oven/fridge is available, so bring something simple.

Sunday, October 13th - Powassan Legion

On Sunday, October 13th we will be worshipping at the Powassan Legion, at 62 King Street, Powassan. Entrance to the hall is on the left side of the building. Worship services at 11 AM and 2:30 PM, with a fellowship meal between, but please note that no food preparation area/stove/oven/fridge is available, so bring something simple.

October 6th Service Location

This week Sunday, October 6th, we will be worshipping at the Nipissing Township Community Centre, at 2381 Highway 654.  From Highway 11 take Exit 329, Highway 564 west towards Nipissing for 12 km.  The Community Centre is on the back of the Fire Hall, which will be on your left if you are coming from 11.  Services will be at 11 AM and 2:30 PM, with a fellowship meal between.  Sorry to those that will have to drive further, this was the best arrangement we could make on short notice.

Worship services are currently being held at 250 Clark St., Powassan at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM.

   

Please note that the church has rented the hall, not the lobby or the entire building. We ask that our members and visitors do not loiter in the entranceway, or explore the rest of the building.   Please join us for coffee and fellowship after the service.  Thank you!

April 28th Service Location

Services will be held this Sunday at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM, at the South Himsworth Park Hall. 

(Note: This location change is only for one Sunday, due to the Maple Sap Run, on May 5th we will be back at 250 Clark.)

  

Good Friday Service

A Good Friday service will be held April 19th at 11:00 AM at the South Himsworth Park Hall at 7 Glendale Heights Drive, Powassan.

December 25th Service

Service to be held on December 25th at 11:00 AM, at 14 Main Street, Powassan, ON.

Worship services are to be held 61 Pinewood Park Dr, North Bay, ON on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 11:15 AM and 2:30 PM.

Institution Service

With thankfulness to the Lord, we announce that the institution service will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 PM, D.V. at First Baptist Church, 1250 Cassells St, North Bay, ON. Please do remember the church plant in prayer as they elect office bearers, and make arrangements for institution over the next few weeks. "Praise ye the Lord, for it is good To sing unto our God; 'Tis right and pleasant for His saints To tell His praise abroad. The Lord our God builds up His Church, He seeks her wandering sons; He binds their wounds and gently heals, The brokenhearted ones." Psalter 403 (Psalm 147).
